Best ways to help students who stutter during uncertain times

This has been no doubt been in a stressful time for all of us. It can increase stuttering. The isolation is not helpful for anyone and if you stutter it can make speaking worse…. Some of us have family members who have been sick or have been sick themselves…

A someone who stutters I can tell you the anxiety can increase physical tension and make breathing harder.  This is what I recommend..

  1.  Keep talking..It is not healthy to stay in a room and be on a computer

  2. Take deep breaths from your diaphragm..

  3. Take care of yourself…reach out if you need help..
