In person is not effective if it is something you keep trying and not being effective. Working with a specialist is a game changer in my opinion.
I often get asked why I no longer see clients in person. The truth is—virtual therapy works better for the people I help. Here’s why:
Life is Busy
As a parent, I know how overwhelming schedules can be.
Families save time and can easily fit therapy into their week.
Families Are More Involved
Instead of waiting in a lobby, parents can sit beside their child.
Caregivers see the strategies in action and practice them in real time.
This builds confidence at home and makes therapy more effective.
It Truly Works
I’ve seen preschoolers, teens, and adults all make strong progress online.
Clients feel more comfortable at home, and interactive tools keep them engaged.
Research supports it—and my experience confirms it.
Greater Access for More Families
Virtual therapy allows me to work with people across New York and beyond.
Families who may not have had access before can now connect with me.
This means more individuals can receive the specialized help they need.
